Hi everyone, Kaelie here!

If you've looked through my site at all, it's (hopefully) obvious to you that I like to make art. Whether it's designing in Illustrator or drawing with a mechanical pencil I found in my couch, art has weaved its way into my life and become a huge part of who I am. But just in case you're curious, here are a few more things that make me me:

-  I was Kansas-born-and-raised, but my mom's side of the family has lived in Oregon for as long as I can remember, so I grew up visiting every summer. From the very first trip, I was convinced: the PNW is the most beautiful place on earth (I am yet to be persuaded otherwise), and I knew someday I would land there permanently. After graduating college, my dream came true. I'm currently located in Salem, OR and I love it with all my heart.

-   I graduated from Friends University (yes, it's real—look it up!) with a degree in Visual Communications. The best decision I made during my four collegiate years was to intern in the marketing department where my amazing boss, Roman, gave me the encouragement, constructive criticism, and support I needed to equip me in my field.

-  My life is full of contrasts. I'm an introvert, but I love being around people. I adore being outside (hiking, climbing, adventuring), but I'm also perfectly content sitting for hours inside (reading, writing, drawing). I’m a homebody who loves the comfort of familiarity, but I’m always down to experience new things.

-  The most important things in the world to me are people and relationships. If you have any interest in working with me, I can promise that I'll put my all into our collaboration because I genuinely care about you and your ideas. I look forward to working with you and can't wait to help you bring your visions to life!
