I had the great pleasure of designing this logo for my former youth pastor, who is now lead pastor at a small, neighborhood church in Derby, Kansas. DFC’s mission is "Knowing Christ and Making Him Known.” They strive to be a place where people feel a sense of belonging while they pursue a deeper connection with Christ before being sent out to love and serve the community around them.

For this design, my main inspiration came from the wheat fields that cover Kansas. Not only is wheat a representation of DFC’s location, but it also symbolizes growth and the “bearing of fruit,” which can translate into a believer’s walk with Christ.
